Track 01
00:56
|
|||
From the dawn of time in our nation,
We face a weary and unanswered situation,
So hard to start an inspired creation,
When missing a solid foundation.
At the very start - we face termination,
Synaptic failure - no more sustained narration,
Lacking all reason, a loud evocation
Give up! Surrender! What great and dark frustration!
What is this mental obstruction,
That denies all logical evaluation?
Is this the fault of our generation,
That we cannot construct a paradise?
With all our reason and scientific innovation,
With all our education, dedication and taxation,
Many still struggle in an involuntary isolation,
Life and death become a rationalization

Track 02

Why do you persist?
Why do you not bow down before our divine authority?
What reason is there for you to exist, now that the void you filled in your planet’s ecosystem is no longer there?
Why didst thou come up here, to the surface?
To witness the glory of thy ancient past?
To walk among the monuments of your extinct culture, forged to praise your long dead gods?
Tell me thy purpose here!
Show me where the other poor souls are hiding.
Only I and I alone can free them from their wretched existence.
What do you expect to do?
Kill me? Shut me down?
You cannot destroy one who isn’t born of the feeble flesh.
Why do you defy us, when there is no hope, no salvation for you?
You are in hell, my dear,
And only I can grant thee freedom.

I wish that you could understand
Colliding thoughts inside my head
I wish that you could comprehend
How much you mean to me.
But you don't see,
But you don't hear,
And you are nowhere, nowhere near.
I cast the thread,
I steal a glance,
But there is no fate in this chance.
We aren't free,
It's not to be.
The wind is howling in a trance.
In dance of shadows in the light.
You are the day,
I am the night.
I am not free,
It's not to be,
And all of hell comes up to me.
Time comes, they say.
You're one of us.
You've missed the tread, you've lost your chance.

One hundred thousand miles
Above periphery of earth, in stars confined
You I have sought to find,
Through satellites, and calls.
Yet all I got was “no response”.
Four months are left, together intertwined.
It will get better, it will get worse.
Because, because, because, because...
Two hundred thousand miles,
Above the somber ashen cloudscape,
You I have sought to find,
Through radio-waves and calls,
Yet all I got was your ferocity combined,
With animosity, and no response.
Will it get better? Will it get worse?
I’ve got my gun out, just because.
Three hundred thousand miles,
Beneath the earth’s magnetic poles
Beneath the ocean, beneath the isles,
Beneath the continental pores
You I have sought to find,
Through electronic calls.
Beep-beep-beep-beep… and I hung up.
I did not wait for a response.

I wish that we could meet again,
Amidst the autumns weary end
With sky beneath our feet, forever crying.
And in reflections birds and clouds, flying
Autumn, how long I’ve been without you.
Autumn, ships burn into the sky.
Autumn, take me, ever so high.
Where, worry has gone awry.
Autumn, I ask you why?
Autumn, it is darkness and despair.
Clawing at my soul, ever bare
Autumn, life is too unjust and so unfair,
Autumn, will I ask you, will I dare?
Autumn, we must end this weary, bleak affair.
And longer I know, why I simply care.
Autumn, on my life, I here to you swear,
Autumn you have caught me, unaware.

Track 06
01:31

Everyday I wake in panic,
Heartbeat racing like manic.
Since you are so far away.
So metallic, inorganic.
Everyday exactly the same.
I fear this darkness I’ll never tame.
I’ve got worldly love and fame,
Who am I here to complain?
But it matters not today
For the shadow I became.
Call me what you will, my friend.
But I shall not condescend.
This I cannot apprehend.
Everyday has the same trend.
You will never read these words,
Ashes rise like a flock of birds.
In the eye of a hurricane,
The calm air seems mundane.
I am here to entertain.
Blind leading the insane.
How to deal with this pain?
Heartbeat I cannot contain.
Everyday, a cloudy rain.
Everyday, another grain.
Empty world,
Here stands unfurled.
Flailing like a wingless bird.
Filled with madness, so absurd.
Everyday I say goodbye,
Everyday I dreams deny.
And to you I here reply,
You are not alone.
I repeat the same routine.
Wake up somewhere in between,
Staring at the flashing screen.
Turn the page and change the scene.
Everyday for you I lust,
But I do not have your trust.
Everyday- the same routine.
Must you feel so numb?
Madness passing by, unseen.
The clock strikes again, thirteen.
All these actions so obscene.
What have I become?

Track 07

A wall of darkness came to him,
A wall that was born on his own whim.
He feared no darkness nor the wall,
And so he paid a heavy toll.
A seed through lack of hope was set,
The wall grew thicker, heavyset.
And through this wall he could not break,
As many have tried in its wake.
The more he clawed against the wall,
The more it rose and left him small.
With one last push, he hit the wall.
But now the wall was far too tall.
The wall had went around the world.
The wall around him had curved.
There only then remained a hole,
Through which he screamed, "I lost control!"
Just then, the wall engulfed him whole,
The wall consumed his very soul.

I worry that the sky will fall,
Today, perhaps tomorrow.
I worry that my luck will stall,
And bring me thus great sorrow.
With hope we live for future day,
The memories of past decay
To heavens we look everyday,
And pray, pray for a vision.
But lets tie up all the loose ends,
Make good on all our amends
Forget the past,
Forget regrets.
Repent, repent my dear friends,
Before the end is coming.
Recall, recall, recall your bets..
What are we all becoming?

You are my hope,
And my salvation.
You are my light,
And my elation.
You are my heartbeat and vibration,
You are a message on my cell,
You are a chime of tower’s bell.
And in my mind your thoughts dwell.
You are that heightened sensation.
You are that long, confusing application.
You are that random combination.
That holds the key,
The future, and clarification.
You are that very best vacation.
Where hand in hand we walked alone,
Betwixt the streets of cobblestone,
And as the moon above us shone.
On the window, music box.
Had played to us, the sound of silence.
That sound of heartbeat’s creation
You are my very final tribulation.
I have no questions, and no words to say.
You have no answers and no explanation.
Perhaps just a manifestation?
A figment of imagination?
Complete belief, infatuation!
Your eyes are leading me away.
Your laughter, like the spring in May
Your smile, like a sunny day
You are the song, to which I sway
You are my thought's fixation.
And between the world of gray,
Upon which I walk everyday.
Between skyscrapers, concrete walls and neon lights.
I will remember all the days and all the nights.
And I will act and I will pray
Just so that we can meet again.

Track 11
01:02

In the hour of desolation,
In our grim and darkened nation.
Sky is falling, sky is falling.
Little girl is crying, calling.
In my message, I inquire:
Shall I fire? Shall I fire?
Target is confirmed, my friend.
This is it, this is the end.
Sung the whooshing silver choir.
And a mushroom made of fire
Into havens did expand.
Before we could comprehend
Situation very dire.
Hurricane of death went higher,
Politicians did conspire.
For the power absolute.
Our world has turned to ash.
When the east and west did clash.
It is too late to amend,
It is too late to repent.
Shattered streets, no population
And no sound of conversation
Here rises fractured spire
Tangled bodies, twisted wire
Turned to dust our attire
When did we loose navigation?
What did our war acquire,
But complete annihilation?

High in the mountains of Tibet, in the dwelling-place of the gods themselves, the adamant citadel city was forged by the hands of mortals. It was carved and crafted out of white limestone, through eons of manual labor in the frigid conditions of eternal winter, to defy nature itself.
The thin mountain air of the pass was knowing for curing the deadliest of diseases and thus holy men from all world religions had made pilgrimage into the mountains, to dedicate another temple to the site, constructed and added onto by their followers.
The monumental, heavy buildings pierced the mountain, open to all the winds, defying all enemies and opposing even the harsh hands of time.

Track 13
01:43
|

We sought to reach out and touch the stars,
Foolish enough to try and reach the heavens themselves,
To become masters of all in creation.
Who was to tell us that our ideals were flawed,
And that in our plight we would forget the beauty of our own world.
Who was to predict that our sun would one day rise for the last time?
Who was to tell that the reaction of four protons or hydrogen nuclei fused together to form one helium nucleus that brought us light and warmth,
Would produce a massive ionized eruption on the sun's surface,
That would consume our civilization in a corona of hellish, perennially radioactive fire.

Track 14
01:11
|

The prognostication was coming true, as mad as it may seem.
T’was the beginning of an end,
And the end of all beginnings,
For we were feebleminded to disbelieve in prophecy of the old,
And fell to the corruption and decadence.
A star had suddenly lit up ever brightly and vanished from the sky.
Our instruments had detected a breakup of the 5th celestial body.
A gravitational rift had ruptured the cosmos
and shifted the balance of our own orbit.
Twas a singular manifestation that grew without stopping,
A myriad of decadent, black clouds engulfed the light.
Day turned into night and night turned into day,
As the atmosphere was ripped apart, by the all-mighty tide of the divine.
The rolling, crackling thunder and howling wind
Had shattered the silence,
As the massive supercell storm had begun to sweep the oceans and continents.
Nothing would dare stand in its path.
The onslaught would continue,
And the rains would pour
Until all that we forged,
Would fall into ruin and vanish forever, as if it never were.
Twas said that only the truly righteous would be saved…
And the seraphims themselves would come down
From the heavens, to watch our end…

Track 15
00:41

Eternal twilight had released its grip upon the world.
The moon had risen to see the land turned over, torn apart.
The shadows of the glowing, decimated, silent cities have returned.
The scorched, black, metallic skeletons of buildings have appeared from the silver mist of mercury and sulfur.
The radioactive dust had settled on the piles of our bones.
How blind and how thoughtless was our move.
How pointless as it seemed now, our war for land.
That was waged in the name of unity and god.
That brought a great downfall,
And the eternal winter,
A dawn of thermonuclear reckoning and our eventual extinction…
Nay, evolution of survivors into… death itself.

No certain future in sight
Nothing but darkness in the immeasurable depths of space
Between the horizons of distant stars
No other options upon this path,
But to evolve, and to adapt to the undying laws
That shaped the universe itself.
And even go beyond,
To catch the stars themselves,
In a tight grip of metal
To harness their energy
for our bidding...

This was a mediocre landing at best.
The escape capsule scorched at least 60 feet of the beach, before coming to a halt, grinded down by the rocky shore in a cacophony of screeching noises and bursts of unexplained fires.
Only after a few minutes of burning and screaming, I've managed to twist the hatch open and crawl out.
Darkness. The sand rustled beneath my hands.
They will come soon. They must have detected my fall! According to the manual, this was a clean, well-colonized world.
I tore off my blackened helmet and inhaled the semi-fresh sea air, preparing myself for a sight of the marvelous civilization before me.
As my eyes adjusted to the blinding sun, I’ve almost screamed in fear.
A colossal structure, entrenched somewhere between sand and water loomed over me, stretched to the horizon... as if ready to swallow me up, in its metallic fury.
The wind whooshed between its teeth, catching on to the metallic beams, swaying and snapping cables, as if playing a giant, broken violin.
Thousands of birds, fluttered over the rusting bones of the mechanical monster.
Their cries reverberated in the distance.
More dead monoliths, rising up above the swirling, mist covered mountains.
A scrap yard of civilization.
What the hell happened to them?!
As the sun started to fade into the horizon, I was quickly beginning to loose hope…

Autumn has suddenly escaped with our dreams.
Frozen breeze crashed down with rainy hail that tuned into drifting snow.
To stay awake, we've set an old engine ablaze with a gas canister.
The blue fire was a mildly amusing sight.
Frostbite was going to get us soon enough, anyway.
Cannon fire murmured in the distance.
Shells punched the ground, crying with an ominous reverberation.
The morning discussion was getting nowhere, as I kept sneezing.
Lost in my thoughts, I almost forgot what we were fighting for.

Grim sentinel traversed through the long dead, stale air.
Tirelessly searching for signs of life, where it didn't expect to find any,
Between the waves of static bursts of gamma particles.
Its hundreds of tiny eyes, constantly in motion focused on the surroundings, picking up every single motion, every single whisper,
examining the terrain and forwarding the data.
Its breath irradiated hellish heat that ruptured metal and cooked stone with screeching booms, breaking the still melody of absolute silence.
Fire danced through the dead monoliths, erasing the last of ancient memories.
The mechanical nightmare descended, vibrating and interlocking its metallic skin,
probing the surface with beams of blinding light.
There was something amiss here.
Something clearly alive was staring back.

The end had come.
The eye of the storm unlocked itself for us.
A massive 9th wave smashed the ship against the darkness,
the impact boom fracturing my eardrums,
collapsing thick metal walls like a deck of cards.
Nothing but absolute silence and flashes of thunder, illuminating the opening and closing hungry mouth of the ocean.
Opening and closing...
The hellish, boiling waters swallowed the front deck, before my very eyes.
What's this? A beam of light from the heavens!
No doubt tiz the angels themselves, peering through the clouds at our final hour, awaiting the arrival of the poor souls.
Our Father who art in heaven,
Deliver us from evil....

T'was an abstraction of the planetary order,
When the sky fell, colliding with the earth.
T'was a dark time, for those that were erased
By an invasion of the fallen stars.
--------------------------------------------
When the rivers of the world ran dry
And the ozone layer unlocked its grip upon the planet
We had to find new ways to survive
Under the perpetual hellfire of the blazing sun
Trapped in the dead desert of the badlands
That were once to our forefathers
The divine depths of the cold, dark oceans
--------------------------------------------
The metallic belt of Industry encircled the planet, suffocating it in a gray veil of smog.
The Iron renaissance was upon us.
Was this the wonderful future we’ve all been hoping for?
Ah, breathe in that metallic air. How strange that one can get used to this.
There’s nothing like home.

My brain shut down again today.
The gray synapses snapped, misfiring, leading me astray.
I had forgotten where I was going or why.
I was lost and alone amidst nowhere.
As I looked up, the buildings swayed in my eyes, encircling me in their psychotic dance. Was their dance real or a creation of my mind, much like the city around it, in ruin?
Smoke and shadows played tricks on my eyes.
It was as if the dark clouds formed a black hole in the center of the sky, eating away the earth, piece by piece. Twisted and torn metal, broken and cracked stone, shattered and snapped overhead in a rocking avalanche, that was slowly coming down, constantly rambling overhead.
Up was down and down was up.
To the vision of a broken mind, the world is a playground, full of things to confuse and betray its frail existence. I must have been walking for hours...
It was nearly dark as I entered the ruins of once metropolical center. No breath or whisper, but my own. Only the crackling, blazing skies, as if legions of hell themselves marched from the earth towards the heavens, fiery ash fluttering down from their feet.
Walking over the shards of blades, where have we gone so blind?
There are no nations now.
There are no wars.
There are no languages, but thoughts.
Simplest urges and desires.
They were advancing.
I shouldn’t be here.
Wake up, wake up.

The incoming planet's gravitational pull tore apart the atmosphere, as it loomed in the sky, a massive sphere of fire and light.
Its orbit had cataclysmically shifted, bringing it far too dangerously close.
The unending city of metal and glass, focused its billions of eyes upwards into the heavens, where the intensely flaring Goliath loomed.
A violent storm was coming. It was not here yet, but it was inevitable.
The “Arrows” were already piercing the sky, in the final attempt to reach the Goliath, break its will and throw it off course.
Every life of the unending metallic city depended on them.

Castaway from the world,

There's a storm inside my mind.

Everyday, everyway, my body it bind.
Decompressing my brain and tearing it apart.
And if I could just sleep, it would be a good start.
But there's just no time left.
There's too much to do.
All the sound of the world,
Amplified, overblown.
All the colors exposed and pulsating.
I have no-one to blame,
But myself and the sky
And society that's always demanding.
Like a hurricane above, eternally wild.
This migraine is making me blind.

Onto ourselves we built a techno-marvelous utopia
Consuming the seemingly abundant resources of our world
Rising ever higher into the heavens,
Only to plummet down and scorch the earth in our grand fall.
When greenhouse gases amassed in the air
And Greenland melted, cutting off the gulf stream,
Its winding path no longer warming the oceans.
A new ice age advanced upon the world,
Glaciers expanded forward from polar ice fields and mountains.
Shattering dreams and crushing cities in their paths
Leaving the earth scarred and torn
In an unfathomable nightmare of ice and fire
That destroyed nearly all hope.

Death is standing in my doorway,
Death is ringing on my bell.
I refuse to simply listen,
I refuse to just get up.
Even thought I know its there,
I will never move myself.
Death is knocking on my doorway,
“Let me in” it tells me then.
I can already taste the smolder,
From the ashes on its shoulder,
Brought up all the way from hell.
Death is knocking on my doorway,
Death is walking through the door,
Death is ever near my presence.
Death has prophesied my toll.
“Just let go of all your troubles,
Take my hand and be reborn,
As an entirely new someone,
With no memories of old.”
I refuse to its voice listen,
I cannot let go the world,
To my relatives I grab,
And I scream but they hear silence
To my friends I bid adieu
And they say he just grew old
Spiders crawl upon my shoulder
and far too heavy is the boulder
Hanging from my scrawny neck
Growing distant, ever colder
I am getting ever older,
Ever closer to inevitable end.

It started with a simple allegation,
Running on a hopeless, foolish inspiration,
When a citizen of non-existent nation,
Denounced all things good and killed his own salvation.
He killed and stole in endless deprivation.
Betrayed and lied for sake of exploitation,
And gambled for it all, rejecting any healthy intervention.
Stabbed by a treacherous knife in depths of pitch-black station,
And when all neurons did at once break up connection,
As his black heart had sounded its termination,
Only then did he realize in utter desperation,
Struck with a sudden, end-life revelation,
That all his life he tried to win but got his ticket to wrong destination.
Just as he fell into the chasms of hell, in a dark end of our narration.

It draws us together,
It tears us apart.
It marks the end of a beginning,
Or does it simply make it start?
Unquestionable and divine
It charts a lineage for big and small
Controlling strings that connect us all.
In all our lives it guides us, pushes and controls us.
For purposes and causes relatively unknown.
Inevitable and undeniable, like a statistic,
It runs my life, behind curtains of chaotic turns.
I’ve seen its face, through counting the passing days
It’s neither good nor evil, like a program.
It merely bends and shapes all things,
Into the linearity of life and the development of soul.
It makes my purpose rather clear,
And yet completely it is unknown if I can change it all.

In temporal displacement I stared through the ring of fire at myself.
And for a brief second I was everywhere.
Chained by my storm, I could only control my fate but not the fate of others.
What good was it to do anything, if nothing could ever be changed?
With the reach of my hand, I re-awakened the ancient machine, seeking answers.
For eons this world was dead, abandoned long ago by its creators and I dared to give it life. But the question was… perhaps this world wish to stay dead? Did it want change?
Perhaps there was a reason for it to fall into the darkness?
Who was I… to bring it light?
As it drew power from my chronostorm, I realized that this was not what I wished for.
What did I wish for?
What exactly did I want? I was a mere human, bound by my dreams and thoughts, tortured by momentary impulses, bound by fate itself towards… I wasn’t even quite sure towards what.
Lo and I have become… the creator of life.
It awakened, reaching towards me, consuming everything around it, to give itself shape.
It spoke to me, not in a voice but in images and song. A long forgotten song, that had not filled these halls of scorched metal for myriads of years.
A living kaleidoscope of colors lights and colors, glittering, sparkling and lighting up before my very eyes. Scraps of metal and glass tearing themselves from the ground and levitating, rising, merging into chaotic shapes and patterns.
Hundreds of unblinking, cold metal eyes examined me, scanning, interpreting and forming an interface in my own image.
Flesh forming out of metal.
Metal forming out of flesh.

And in this dark harvest of season
My life has completely lost reason,
For which or against to decide.
All lost in a savage and endless, bleak tide
In sadness and in kindness
In light and in darkness.
In a boat made of hope
I shall sail to tomorrow,
In a winding hurricane
Made of treachery and sorrow.
There's a spear; an endless, and colossal spear...
Piercing, slashing though my head.
Starting somewhere in heaven,
Ending somewhere in hell.
Fighting, burning, crying, crashing.
Are the armies within.
In my head they are all thrashing.
On the whims of heaven and hell.
To be light or to be darkness.
A perpetual array.
It's not merely my choice,
But the choice of the way.
It's an option of the voice,
It's a thin line of gray.
Is it a choice forced by fate,
Is it a pre-set time and date?
Or a choice to which I myself sway?
But I pray you hear my story….
"Nothing that I do will matter.
As all things will merely shatter!"
All my hopes thus darkness scatter,
As it is singing a decree.
As it simply wants to win,
As it simply wants to take over me.
"Have a purpose, bend the world,
Act out upon your wishes,
and the nameless will love you"
That's what light then says to me,
Because it wants to set me free.
Winning slightly over me.
"But this cage of shining gold,
will shield you from untrue
And protect you from the cold,
Nothing inside its walls can harm you,
In your own little world!"
Whispers darkness in my ear,
"Only me you should now hear,
And with me you will survive,
And with my help you will strive,
And achieve your paradise,
In illusion's disguise!
With no hardships and no pain,
You will know power and fame!"
The light sternly yells at me:
"These are lies as they can be!
If your world is built on lies,
Then yourself you will despise.
And illusion's paradise,
Will fall down on you.
Crashing, burning, dying,
crying are your dreams
And uprooted is your tree!
And no longer will you see
Where to go or what to be!
When you face your final trial,
what will the judge say to thee?"
"These are lies and mere dogma,
Based upon the fear of death!"
Darkness then just yells at me:
"You have your right to disagree!
Make a lovely pact with me.
I will offer you salvation,
No more fear or deprivation!
If you would indulge me then just hear,
You have nothing at all to fear.
Since we do not have a soul.
There's nothing with which to pay a toll!
Sign here, over there.
In the name of pleasure and hope.
In the name of revolution,
Let your mountain of turmoil
become just a gentle slope!"
Its arguments are winning over me,
And thus with darkness I agree,
And so I sign the decree,
And with a treacherous and jolly glee
Darkness enshrouding, standing over me
"With the light here once and for all undone
You and I shall become one!"
And so, I enter into the storm of shadows.
As pitch-black as the depths of the sea.
Becoming a mere castaway, amidst the weary crowds.
Consumed by somber, ashen clouds,
With the heavens frowning over me.
A storm of ice and fire, dancing all around with glee.
A storm of time and infinity encapsulating me.
Like a fire burning to the heavens.
Tearing up roads, buildings, picking up debris.
Into the air it takes me.
My wings have turned to blackened ash
The pacifying, freezing fear taking over
My heart is covered in frost
And all I wished, is to be free…

I've been addicted to you,
and you know that its true
I don't know where you are
In the distant heavens like a far away star
You I have been searching for,
And this search has devoured my body and soul
Blades of distant horizon streamlined,
I beg you to let go my mind
My addiction I cannot let go,
Chained to the somber ocean floor
Between rising waters of the storm
In the dark and flashing shadows
In the center of the malicious swarm.
In the current of the coiled clouds,
On my knees I stand and thus implore
Save me, cure me, take me.
Please just let me say, remember
How it was so long before.

Breaking lights of darkness in the distance,
Flickering apologetic words,
Subconsciously passive, last resistance
I just want to atomize, shatter out of consistence
Flying into heavens like a flock of birds.
Counting down nanoseconds of my toll.
Tracing down the lines of existence
And these words of wisdom overdue for all
It is far too late for heavenly assistance,
When my sins accounted for the ending goal
Body’s rusting in the rain,
I am trying to forget and be forgotten.
Something clawing from the inside of my brain,
Something ghastly, dark and rotten.
Hear me and thus accept my flesh
Take my eyes so I can see again
Maybe then I can no longer be forsaken
Maybe then I can awaken,
Start my life anew, afresh.

From the dawn of time in our nation,
We face a weary and unanswered situation,
So hard to start an inspired creation,
When missing a solid foundation.
At the very start - we face termination,
Synaptic failure - no more sustained narration,
Lacking all reason, a loud evocation
Give up! Surrender! What great and dark frustration!
What is this mental obstruction,
That denies all logical evaluation?
Is this the fault of our generation,
That we cannot construct a paradise?
With all our reason and scientific innovation,
With all our education, dedication and taxation,
Many still struggle in an involuntary isolation,
Life and death become a rationalization
